Retrogrades are so valuable. They occur when a planet slows down so much that it appears to be moving backwards from our vantage point here on earth. Mercury Retrograde is the most popular retrograde, and rightfully so. It happens three times a year and can actually create quite a bit of madness in our world regarding transportation, communication and technology. Most people don’t know about our underestimate the retrogrades of other planets. We don’t focus so much on Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune or Pluto retrograde because they stay retrograde for months at a time. PLEASE NOTE: We do need to pay attention to when they are retrograde but they don’t send our world spinning into craziness as much when they do. However, when Mars and Venus go retrograde, this is something to pay attention, to. First off, they do not go retrograde every year and when they do, we will feel the effects, as they are personal planets that to impact our day-to-day lives.
Why is it important to keep up with retrograde planets? Because they show you where you need to review, revise, revisit and re-plan in an area of life. Each planet signifies certain themes and the house the planet retrogrades in in your chart will tell you what area of life to expect changes.
